I have been a member of the Leithfield Beach community now for 3 years, when I bought a bach to get away from the city. My wife and I have met some very friendly neighbours throughout this time.
Individual Personal Training
Being a Personal Trainer and running my own business in Christchurch throughout the week, I am offering Personal Training on Friday afternoons to locals instead of them travelling to Amberley or Rangiora.
Group Training Classes
One of the classes I offer in Christchurch is the Rockit Board Class which helps to improve balance, fitness, coordination and flexibility in a group session at the local community hall in Leithfield Beach.
At this stage Friday afternoons are available for training and advice on your health and fitness needs.

Rockit Board Class
You may have seen this class advertised on Facebook or on the Leithfield Community page and wondered what these classes are all about.
Well let me firstly explain that they are suitable for people of all ages, as many people think that you have to be over 50 to join in. These classes work on balance, coordination, flexibility and they are a fun activity as well.
We work with a variety of equipment on these balance boards, from resistance bands, dumb bells, broomsticks, bouncing balls, poi's, and ropes.
Nordic Walking
This class is a new addition to what I have on offer to the local community.
You may be wondering, what is Nordic Walking
Nordic Walking is a form of fitness walking using specially designed poles and a learned technique to produce a low impact, high results, total body workout.
The poles serve as a resistance exercise for the upper body, thus Nordic Walking increases cardio output, burns more calories and activates more muscles compared to normal walking. Originating from Scandinavia and the sport of cross country skiing.
