Rope Flow training for arms & shoulder flexibility

Here is an exercise activity that will test your coordination, improve your brain and body integration with the movement of spinning a rope.

The Rope Flow practice has been around for over two decades and New Zealand has been slow to pick up on the idea. I have been using rope flow for the past 4 years and have shared what I know with people in my studio and at various expo's.

The benefits of Rope Flow

- low impact, full body exercise, improves mobility, and joint health

- enhanced coordination and brain activity

- core strength and functional fitness.

It is part jump rope, part dancing, and is a great mobility exercise that promotes rhythm, timing, and coordination between the left and right brain.

It is a fun way to exercise and improve mobility and joint health and with sufficient practice, it can also be a tool to release stress and anxiety

Balance board group training

Balance is an essential element to everyday health, wellbeing and brain health..

The balance board uses low impact movements in a fun way of helping to improve your balance, core strength, lower body muscle groups, and flexibility.

You will be amazed how soothing the rocking motion can be and you'll feel your muscles working without building up a sweat.

Have the opportunity to challenge yourself using light weights, resistance bands, practice yoga poses, and contralateral movements to help with coordination and the rhythmic rocking movement of the board..

Tai Chi movements group training

This Class is all about getting the body to move with the gentle movements associated with Tai Chi.

Low Impact movements that will stimulate the brain and the body to move as one.

You'll learn groups of flowing slow movements to improve strength and joint health while prompting increased energy.

Brain training with movement

A fun small group with exercises to stimulate your brain increase your ability to pay attention, learn and improve brain health.

Learn techniques to switch on your brain through everyday movements

integrate movement and balance with coordination

Fun exercises that will include everyday equipment you may have around the home

Emphasis on focus, concentration, and memory through movement
